Biographical Information:

Jonathan Wall is the Director of Choral and Vocal Studies at Southwestern Adventist University. He conducts the University Singers, Mizpah Choraliers and is the director of the vocal program. In addition to those responsibilities he teaches choral conducting and worship and music courses. Before arriving in Texas, Mr. Wall spent his previous nine years at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI. After completing his BMUS in Music Education and Vocal Performance in 2005, he was privileged to serve as the assistant in the choral program at Andrews University from 2005-2008 while working on his Masters in Choral Conducting with Professor Stephen Zork. During his time in Michigan Mr. Wall studied voice and conducting from Professor Zork and was a soloist, section leader and assistant conductor of the University Choral Ensembles. He also taught Voice and Physical Education classes at Andrews University. Mr. Wall also served as the Minister of Music and Worship at the Village SDA Church in Berrien Springs, MI and the Associate Director of Music at the First Congregational Church in St. Joseph, MI.

Music has taken him across the globe to England, Russia, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Zimbabwe, Bahamas, Chile, Bermuda and throughout the United States. Mr. Wall is an accomplished and sought after baritone soloist whose performances have received high acclaim. He is also a busy choral clinician who directs multiple music festivals throughout the year.  Mr. Wall lives near Southwestern with his wife Marcela, who is the Director of the University Bookstore.
