3. What can I do with a Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Math degree?

 

Graduates can earn an advanced degree in a medical field, earn a graduate degree in a related field, work for state agencies or an industry, do academic or industrial research, or teach at the secondary level or college level -after graduate school.

 

4. What is unique about SWAU's program?

 

Hands-on projects, and assignments involving in-depth experiments and research, advanced students have an opportunity to conduct labs, a ratio between students and faculty of 15:1- providing individual assistance, and more opportunities for questions. 

 

CheMaPhy is an active club for students majoring in Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics (and for anyone else wishing they had friends in those majors). It is run by students and student officers that are chosen during a departmental assembly in the Fall semester. During the school year, they may hold Friday night vespers together, have picnics on hot days and other off-campus activities.
