There are two main opportunities for Music graduates - teaching and performing;  

Other opportunities include: 

  • music business 
  • music ministry 
  • music therapy

 

4. What is unique about SWAU's program?

 

Students in the campus music groups perform at large concert venues such as The Morton Meyerson Symphony Center, home to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Students have the opportunity to perform with a professional regional orchestra, Brazos Chamber Orchestra. Courses focus on theory from a European perspective as well as American theory. Smaller numbers in the classrooms enhance the learning environment.
