If you have a specific interest not covered in scheduled classes, the department offers the “Selected Topics” option that encourages further educational exploration. Selected Topics is a course you receive 1 hour of credit for. It is a study in an area of student interest under the direction of a faculty member. This study may involve research, laboratory or library work.
