Bio: Steve Stafford became the VP of Enrollment in the Summer of 2006. Prior to his new position, he worked as the Director of Counseling & Testing. Stafford has worked in Adventist education as a teacher and dean since he received his bachelor of science degree from Atlantic Union College in 1980. He earned his masters in counseling from Tarleton State University in 1996. Stafford and his wife, Bev, have two teenagers, Alisha and Jared. Steve's work has provided the opportunity to live in the Carribean, Florida, and Texas-locations with beaches and surfing.

Bio: Char enjoys working with young people. She became SWAU's Director of Admissions in the Fall of 2006. Prior to SWAU she did admissions at Andrews University for 25 years. In 1977 she was the Registrar at Blue Mountain Academy for 3 years. Char has worked a variety of positions such as nursing and the circulation manager for Happiness TV Guide which was circulated nation wide in small community grocery and drug stores. Her husband, Dr. Gerald Coy, has been working in the education field since 1966. They moved from the beautiful Northwest in 1970 to Pennsylvania, on to Tennessee, Michigan and now Texas. They have two grown daughters and four beautiful granddaughters.

Bio: Tina graduated with a B.S.W. in Social work from Southwestern Adventist College (now SWAU). She worked for a year and a half in Hawaii as a nanny and had the opportunity to travel to Europe for two summers during that time. In the spring of 1991 she returned to SWAU to work in the Counseling and Testing Center. Now, Tina serves as the Director of Enrollment. She organizes campus events like Academy Basketball Tournaments and Visitation Days. Tina is the sponsor of all the student recruiters. She travels frequently to represent SWAU at campmeetings, youth rallies, the ASI convention and other events.

Bio: Theresa came to Southwestern in January of 2002 when her husband decided to earn a degree in Theology. They moved from Seattle, Washington where she was a principal's assistant and director of an after school day care program. Students especially enjoy talking with Theresa, because she always offers a listening ear. She enjoys helping students get scholarships or find jobs. She is the Spanish translator for the office and often uses her language skills to assist other departments as well. Theresa enjoys getting involved with church ministries and spending time with her husband and three children.
