GRADUATION WEEKEND MAY 7 - 9, 2010

APPOINTMENTS AND PROCEDURES

Apparel may be picked up at the The Bookstore: Wednesday, May 5, starting at noon through May 7 at noon. If the times to pick up apparel are not convenient for you, your apparel will be at HAGEN HALL on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and Sunday at 9:30 a.m.  Be prepared to complete surveys before receiving your gown.

THURSDAY, May 6, 2010 - GRADUATION REHEARSAL–6:30 p.m. (Gym) Attendance required!  Please find your seat on the stage in the gymnasium. 

FRIDAY, May 7, 2010 – CONSECRATION–8:00 p.m. (Church) Church attire is required. 

SABBATH SCHOOL, May 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. (Gym)

SABBATH, May 9, 2010 – BACCALAUREATE–11:30 a.m. (Gym)*Cap & gown should be worn.

2. March as listed down the center of the aisle.  Graduates march single file.

3. Men remove caps for each prayer; replace after prayer.

4. Follow recessional order at the right of this page.

SUNDAY, May 9, 2010 – COMMENCEMENT–10:00 a.m. (Gym)*Cap & gown should be worn.

1. Assemble at 9:30 a.m. Processional begins at 10:00 a.m. SHARP!

1.     March with dignity.

2.      Graduates march single file.

3.     Men remove caps for each prayer; replace after prayer.

4.     To receive diploma covers – all stand to receive degrees

a.     As instructed, form a line, and wait for your name to be called

b.     Receive diploma cover

c.     Shake hands with President

d.     Return to seat as practiced and BE SEATED

e.     Follow recessional order at the right of this page

f.     Stay in line and march all the way up to the area between the cafeteria and Pechero Hall. Please ask to your family to meet you there for the reception.

g.     Immediately following the reception RETURN your gown and master’s hood in Hagen Hall.

You may keep your cap & tassel.  RETURN GOWN AND MASTER’S HOOD TO HAGEN HALL IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING COMMENCEMENT ON SUNDAY, MAY 9, BY 1:30 P.M.   You are responsible for seeing that your gown and/or hood are checked in when returned.   Your diploma will be mailed to you at the end of the month.

YOU WILL BE CHARGED up to $200 for your gown and

Master’s hood if not returned on time (Sunday at 1:30 p.m.)
