Award: $100–$1,500
Awarded to students who qualify for Pell Grants and demonstrate exceptional need. Funding is limited and based on FAFSA completion by March 1.

Award: Up to $4,000 per year
For Education majors accepted into the program who plan to teach in high-need fields or low-income schools. This grant requires a 3.25 GPA, FAFSA submission, and an Agreement to Serve. Failure to meet service requirements will convert the grant into a loan.

Award: $1,500–$3,200
A state grant for eligible Texas residents attending private institutions. Requirements include FAFSA or TASFA completion, three-quarter-time enrollment, minimum GPA, and 24 credit hours per academic year.

Offered to eligible students based on FAFSA results. SWAU typically awards up to $2,200 per year. Students earn these funds by working in approved campus jobs, receiving regular paychecks.

A state-sponsored program that provides on-campus job opportunities with biweekly pay.

Need-based federal loan with interest subsidized while enrolled at least half-time. Loan limits vary by academic year level.

Not based on financial need. Interest accrues while in school. Limits vary by dependency status and year.

Parents of dependent students may borrow up to the full cost of attendance, minus other aid. Credit check required. Repayment begins after the final disbursement.
