SWAU Telephone System Destroyed in Storm

The SWAU telephone system was struck by lightning during a recent thunderstorm. The phones have been out-of-service since Thursday, August 19.
The University faculty and staff want to extend our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this large-scale problem may have caused you. We are doing all we can to resolve this situation as quickly as possible.
Fortunately, before the storm, SWAU had made plans to install a new telephone system campus-wide. These plans have been accelerated, due to the current immediate need for phone service on campus. The public will be able to call the University in the morning on Monday, August 23. (service may be available before this time) You can reach us by phone at: 817-645-3921.
