SWAU Goes “Live” With New Website

Viewers will find vivid colors and friendly photos on the new website. “It has a consistent look and feel that makes it easy to use,” said Brenda Schnell, director of admissions. “With the new layout, I can find information quickly,” said Henrique Gomes, theology major.
Better organization, simple categories, and more “fun” sidebar links have been created with the user in mind. “I think the design is more professional and will be more eye-catching to our current and prospective students,” said Tina Bottsford, director of enrollment. “I think the site is very organized,” said Opal Albury, a social work major.
The University is making updates to the website on a regular basis. “The site is a work in progress,” said Debbie Battin, director of marketing, who has worked the LiquidMatrix Corporation to make the new website. “Our plan is to list the most current, relevant information on the website so it will remain a dependable source of information.”
More than 300 applications have been sent to the University through the new website’s online application form. About 250 parents, alumni, current and prospective students have sent in their comments and questions via the “contact us forms.” SWAU is excited to have greater ability to supply information to the public and communicate through the new site found at www.swau.edu .
