Southwestern Adventist University Business Administration Department is accredited by International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (I.A.C.B.E.), the premier four-year business accrediting body for small to mid-sized business schools and programs. Effective 2007-2016.

Southwestern Adventist University Department of Business Administration is a member of the Students in Free Enterprise program. Southwestern's S.I.F.E. team has won 10 regional championships since 1997 and was National Runner-Up in 2006.

The Business Administration Department at Southwestern Adventist University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IABCE), located in Olathe, Kansas. The business programs in the following degrees are accredited by the IACBE:
