Information Technology Services (ITS) is committed to effectively providing technology resources and support for Southwestern Adventist University's academic and administrative programs. ITS works closely with many other departments on campus to provide a wide range of services for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and others. This includes hardware and software resources, network connectivity, telecommunications, email, web services and more.

Account Services
User Accounts ensure your privacy and safety as well as the security of the University. Your primary digital identity at Southwestern Adventist University is your Campus User Account. It provides access to a wide range of services such as the Web, e-mail, library resources, Student Portal, wireless access, and student computing labs.
Once a new student has been fully accepted, an email will be sent to their personal email account with instructions on how to create a Campus User Account. If you have any difficulty with your account, please call Account Services at 817-202-6411 or email the Helpdesk.
Networking Services
The University's core network provides high speed access across the campus and to the Internet. Once you have an active Campus User Account you can register your wireless device by connecting to SWAU-Register. You can also register your computer's wired port by bringing it to the ITS Helpdesk in the Findley Administration Building or by calling the Helpdesk (817-202-6411) to schedule a room visit. If you have any trouble accessing the network, please call us.

Email Services
The University provides you an email account which is your username@swau.edu. This email is used for all important university announcements and messages. Examples of things that this email account is also used for include: classified items, registration messages, voicemail (dorm students only), athletic and intramural events, SA activities, and teacher correspondence.
Personalized Calendaring and Contacts are also available. Graduating alums can keep their email accounts.

Phone Services
Telecommunication Services provides a phone number to every dorm students which allows local calling, direct dial in, and voice mail. Please refer to the Dorm Phones page for more information.
