Hello everyone!

I'm doing pretty well. I miss home though and I miss Southwestern a lot! I miss the people. Tell Kisha Norris I said hi if you see her. I get along well with everyone. I’m getting involved with the church more.

We had an Island night concert that the whole community took part in. I sang a few songs with the other SM’s and it was a blast. We started basketball practice and I'm the coach. I don't know how good they’ll be with me at the helm, but we’ll give it a go any way.

So how is the school year going? I imagine you’re close if not already at midterms. I know that I will be a much better student after this year after being on the other side of the desk.

I've been surfing quite a bit and getting better at that. It’s a lot of fun. I got some scars that I’m going to be leaving with though. The reef is really unforgiving here.

My church is sending me a digital camera soon, so I hope to send you some pictures on line. Oh this lawyer on island is giving me a laptop for free. It’s a year old but it’s still in the packaging. It’s a Dell and it has a DVD player and it’s 1 gig. So it will work for me.

I’m having a good time and trying to live as God would want me to live. It’s tough at times to know what that is and I know I have to put time into our relationship but you can't help but Hope and Pray for a Miraculous happening to let you know He's there, but I know He is. The fact that I’m out here lets me know that.
