A Night at the Meyerson
A Night of Grandeur
This annual concert is the culminating event of the Southwestern Adventist University Music Festival. In 2023, the Festival will feature a world premiere commission from renowned guest composer Elaine Hagenberg and will highlight the choral and instrumental ensembles from the Department of Music at Southwestern. Special guests from high schools across the country audition for the opportunity to perform alongside Southwestern students, faculty, and professional guests at the famed Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas. Proceeds will benefit student performance scholarships and the music experience at Southwestern Adventist University.
A Night Where Music and Mission Unite
Since the school’s beginning in 1893, Southwestern Adventist University has been inspiring students to develop their God-given talents to bring honor and glory to their Creator. This year marks the 30th anniversary of celebrating God's gift of music at the Meyerson Symphony Center.
A Night Promoting Achievement and Scholarships
Our goal is to promote musical achievement among young musicians and provide scholarships that will enable students to thrive as they engage in music while pursuing their college degrees. This wonderful tradition continues due to the many sponsors supporting this event. We are extremely thankful for their generosity.
