I have lived in Montana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Tennessee and now Texas. During college, I was a student missionary at Maxwell Adventist Academy in Nairobi, Kenya. I am an alumnus of Southern Adventist University in both undergraduate and graduate degrees. After completing undergraduate schooling, I remained in the Chattanooga, TN area, where I started and ran a small business and became involved with community economic development efforts. Community economic development is still a large passion, specifically the economic development of emerging markets. In 2016, my wife and I felt God leading us to SWAU. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work here and really love this school. In my spare time, I build Legos, go to State and National Parks, canoe, trail-run, backpack and mountaineer with my wife Brianne and dog Bandit.
