Southwestern Advance Campaign
One out of every four students at Southwestern Adventist University is a nursing major. Our nursing program is growing fast! It is top-notch program producing skilled nurses while the national need for nurses continues to grow. The problem is we have outgrown our classrooms and skills labs. Our Nursing program is currently spread out across four buildings and the space they utilize is still cramped. The Southwestern Advance Campaign is for a state-of-the-art Nursing and Administration Building.
More Ways to Give-
Southwestern Opportunity Fund
The Southwestern Opportunity Fund provides our students, faculty and staff with the gift of opportunity. Your gifts create a better today and tomorrow by providing critical funds to meet the most pressing needs of the University and our students. Each year, hundreds of alumni and friends give the gift of Opportunity. Join now and provide opportunity for every student every day.
2020 Alumni Legacy Endowment
It is a wonderful legacy when a Southwestern Adventist University alumni sees their children, grandchildren, or even great grandchildren attend their alma mater. To promote this legacy opportunity through additional scholarship funds, Southwestern has created the 2020 Alumni Legacy Endowment. With a goal of $1.4 million by 2020, this endowment will enable Southwestern to give thousands in scholarship funds each year to future generations of students.
You are invited to consider joining this initiative along with 2,000 other individuals or companies. We need 2,000 alumni to commit to $20 per month, for 36 months (or equivalent). Alternatively, you can give with three payments of $240 each or one single payment of $720. The individual gifts may seem small, but together they build a strong alumni legacy!
Our newest circle of giving will consist of 100 individuals, or businesses, who commit to a gift of $1,000 in 2017, towards IMPACT100. The beneficiaries of these gifts are various departments on campus who have submitted proposals for special project funding. Gifts to this initiative can be made one time, or through 10 payments of $100 each.
Support Southwestern Students Through Scholarships
Scholarships allow students to attend Southwestern Adventist University in a tight economy. Each scholarship makes a student’s dream of earning a degree a reality.
Many students attending Southwestern receive need-based or merit-based scholarships. Your gift to the Student Scholarship Fund makes these scholarships possible.
Scholarships attract students with outstanding academic achievement. By sharing their intelligence, work ethic, and innovative spirit, outstanding students raise Southwestern’s overall quality of education, research, and service.
