Program Overview

The Exercise Science major at Southwestern Adventist University provides a strong scientific foundation in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and exercise testing. Students gain practical experience through laboratory-style activities in exercise physiology and biomechanics, as well as campus and community projects that expose them to diverse populations. A BS in Exercise Science prepares graduates for a variety of pre-professional and professional pathways, including:
