The primary function of the Business Office Accountant is to help coordinate all accounting procedures and guidelines, ensuring that the organization is in full compliance with applicable accounting policies and guidelines. SWAU is accepting applications for the Dining Services Director position.
The Dining Services Director is responsible for the overall, daily food service of the university as well as special functions. This position leads a team of food service professionals and student workers. They will oversee meal preparation, dining service operations, staffing and scheduling, menu development, and inventory and budgeting. As an integral part of student life, the ideal candidate will value high food quality and handling and creating a pleasant dining experience for students, employees, and guests.

Position
Advisement Coordinator oversees academic advising services to ensure all students are meeting regularly with their advisors with emphasis on first-year students and transfer students. In addition, the coordinator ensures delivery of high-quality approaches are taken to meet students’ needs. The Advisement Coordinator is to apply knowledge of best practices of advising and train our university staff, professors, and peer advisors to be equipped with the tools they need to do their job successfully. The coordinator will work in collaboration with the STEM Excellence Department, Student Success Team, Enrollment, and faculty to ensure all goals are met.
Responsibilities
• Keeping track of advisement meetings
• Coordinate with transfer student advisement and first year STEM students
• Coordinate with local outreach efforts making sure first contact is efficient and timely
• Coordinate and facilitate training of faculty advisors. Implement and update advising manuals and make them available to all advisors.
• Assist with peer advisor supervision
• Assist with creating transfer pathways from local community colleges
• Develop resources for students and advisors
• Designs, implements, oversees, and evaluates an advising program in collaboration with STEM Excellence Department, Student Success Team, Enrollment and faculty.
• Take responsibility for assessing the student's effectiveness and use the assessment process results to improve the office's effectiveness and its programs.
• Assesses diverse needs of students who use the advising services and adjusts the program structure to address those needs and the university mission statement; recommends policy and procedural changes to administrators.
• Develops and conducts informational seminars and workshops for students, faculty and advisors.
• Develops and prepares advising materials.
• Maintains and analyzes program data and prepares reports.

The Department of Nursing is accepting applicants for a full-time faculty position.
This instructional role will have a focus on med/surg and will require an earned PhD. Candidates with experience teaching in higher education is preferred and candidates who have prior experience in a hospital environment is a plus.

Experience
Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related field is preferred; a master’s degree is required. Candidates with proven teaching experience at the undergraduate level will be given priority. Teaching responsibilities include various computer science courses, including programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++, database design, algorithms, and data structures. In addition to teaching, the faculty member is expected to engage in scholarly activity and participate in university service.

The Coordinator for Online Education is responsible for the delivery of the University’s online program and works with each department chair to ensure students are registered and advised appropriately. Also responsible for monitoring the Dual Credit Program
He/She will work closely with IT to ensure that our learning management system.
(Canvas) continues to meet the needs of our online faculty and students. The Coordinator assists the VP of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (VPIRE) in the development and implementation of both online (e-learning) and live classroom/virtual training where applicable.
Work collaboratively with the Enrollment Office in varied enrollment processes under the supervision of the VP for Enrollment.
Responsibilities
- Assists the VPIRE in continuously improving standards and practices for all training, documentation, and online programming activities across the institution.
- Assists the VPIRE in ensuring the quality of the online programs through effective needs assessments, course design, qualified instructors, and learning reinforcement strategies.
- Ensures online instructors are compliant with the policies of the online education program.
- Responsible for onboarding all new, incoming adjunct/online instructors
- Submits timely documentation for remuneration of online faculty to the Business Office.
- Collaborates with IT in managing Canvas to support the needs of students and faculty.
- Takes minutes of the online education committee and ensures committee members are informed of scheduled meetings.
- Manages student workers assigned for the efficient running of the department.
- Collaborates with Enrollment and Admissions in recruiting prospective students through the platform “Hubspot” • Other duties as assigned.
- Assists the VP for Enrollment in the enrollment of Dual credit students.
- Facilitates the university’s ability to enroll international students in adherence to government requirements and policies. Will carry out the function of the PDSO for Southwestern. Staff Supervision

Position
The Associate Director of Sponsored Projects Administration pursues, negotiates, and administers sponsored programs; identifies external/internal funding opportunities; oversees the proposal preparation process; submits proposals; reviews and processes agreements (both financial and non-financial); negotiates contract terms; informs faculty and college personnel of special contractual requirements; ensuring compliance with University guidelines; and providing training to University personnel on grants and contracts administration.
Responsibilities

- Develop materials and systems for informing faculty of new funding opportunities; work with faculty to identify appropriate funding strategies; monitor funding trends.

- Prepare and organize proposals for sponsored programs
- Prepare initial and revised budgets
- Review budget justifications; provide input to faculty members on the appropriateness of budgeted items.

Requirements
