Southwestern Fund

Your support to the Southwestern Fund focuses on the student experience here at Southwestern Adventist University.
Your giving enables academic scholarships, it provides hands-on learning opportunities throughout our campus and beyond, It gives students access to state-of-the-art learning facilities, and it allows knowledgeable faculty to guide students along the way. Your generosity today, will allow us to continue to inspire knowledge, faith, and service through Christ-centered education.

Your Gift Matters

This month we begin our 2021 Annual Giving Campaign. This is the second year that we are featuring the Christmas ornament collectibles as part of our Annual Giving campaign. This year’s Evans Hall ornament is a part of the 12-year series, which will feature the buildings and structures from the Southwestern Adventist University campus.

Each ornament celebrates our university’s history and will be given as a token of our appreciation to individuals who commit to a $25 monthly gift or a total annual gift of $250 or more. We have a special offer for our young Alumni who graduated in the past 10 years too. This ornament is reserved for you with a monthly gift of $10 or a total annual gift of $100 or more.

Our Annual Giving Campaign is to raise money for the Southwestern Fund. With your gift last year, we were able to meet unanticipated opportunities that arose to continue to provide a better student experience in a growing and dynamic institution like Southwestern.
With your generous gift, you provided more than 230 students with financial aid and scholarships last year. In addition to that, with growth in enrollment, we were immediately faced with parking challenges. Your gift has afforded us 23 more parking spaces between Pechero and Moore buildings. We also replaced the carpet and entrance floor in the Findley building and began repair and maintenance work on the Chan Shun Centennial Library cupola.

Last year we sent out over 300 Christmas ornaments to our supporters and friends like you. We would love for you to join 200 other alumni and friends who are eligible to receive this token of our appreciation.

We thank you for the support and commitment that you have graced us with. From current students to our faithful donors, and the community businesses who have supported us in joining together to give us a gift that lasts. Through the gift of Christian education, lives are changed every day.

See how your gift has impacted our students…

“To me, the Mizpah Gate represents a sign of commitment not only to higher education but a commitment to use this education for the glory of God,” shares Enrique Schmitt, December 2020 graduate

"Because of people like them I have the chance of accomplishing my goals, starting with coming here. If it weren’t for people like them, I would not be here. I hope they realize just how important they are to my success. I will be forever thankful to them" - Caroline Torres, junior biology major

"I consider scholarships to be answered prayers and receiving financial aid from those funds has helped me grow closer to God. You have served to answer prayers even before I prayed. You are an instrument of God that has solidified my view that He indeed has everything under control." - Raquel Villa, sophomore, psychology major.
