This is the year we are giving special attention to scholarship. There are many young people who desire a Christian education at our University, but due to the family's income, they are unable to afford to come. We do everything we can to provide assistance, but sometimes there are not sufficient funds to help every needy student. This year, we are inviting each of our alumni and friends to donate to our scholarship fund. The return on investment is priceless when you think of the eternal consequences for our students.

Southwestern Adventist University has set up a relief fund to benefit students, in times of crisis. This relief fund is our effort to ease our students' financial burdens, encourage them to stay active and healthy and to refocus their attention to their academic endeavors. It is also hoped to ensure a greater availability for more effective learning both students who are on campus and off-campus. Our current goal is to be able to assisy sytudents who lack financial means to meet unexpected expenses due to the COVID-19.

The Southwestern Fund creates a better today and tomorrow by providing critical funds to meet the most pressing needs of the University and our students. Mostly used for scholarship funding, this fund, formerly known as the Annual Fund is used to ensure that the funding gap for essential student and campus needs are fulfilled.

The Student Aid Fund is a general fund that support students in their quest to complete their college education. There are also ways to give to the established scholarship endowment funds below. The endowment will provide permanent revenue, enabling SWAU to continue to offer scholarships to students in perpetuity. Gifts of any size help, and income from endowed funds will support student excellence and scholarship.

Our academic departments and student programming are important to us and your gift to support their work provides much needed funds to enhance our academics, athletics and extra-curricular programming. Student groups like ENACTUS and athletic teams are making a huge impact on the community and abroad by participating in mission trips and community projects. Academic departments are finding new ways to enhance the learning experience by creating hands-on experience for students, conference and workshop participation, and trips that expand beyond the classroom environment.

Service is part of our lives at Southwestern and our students are drawn to live out their commitment by participating in short-term and long-term mission service. The goal of the Southwestern Adventist University mission program is the development of Christ-minded, mission-minded disciples wherever God may call them. By supporting student missions, you will be giving to the long-term and short-term mission service appointments.
