Celebrating Our 125th Anniversary
Southwestern Adventist University was established in the fall of 1893. The first day of classes was January 7, 1894. Traditionally, Southwestern celebrates anniversary milestones on the academic year rather than the calendar or fiscal year. SWAU's 125th anniversary will thus officially be celebrated from September 2018 through May 2019.
